Regarding
Art:
This part is
simple. You can send .jpg, an eps, a psd, a tiff, a png, a pdf,
a .cdl, an .ai, just about anything. We'd recommend against using
a.gif or anything with indexed color. The resolution should be at
300 dpi, but could be as low as 150 dpi. Best results occur occur
with 300 dpi, so we highly encourage 300 dpi files, or vector art
(Illustrator files).
You also want
the file to be set up so that the image is exactly the size you
want it printed on the shirt. So if you want it to be 9" across
the shirt, use the ruler or image size in your graphics program
to be sure you are at the size you want printed, and at 300 dpi.
It should be noted that graphics grabbed off of a website are only
at "screen resolution" and will not print properly.
Email your file
to press@astropress.net,
along with your shirt order.

A
word about this new cutting edge technology (direct digital shirt
printing)
This
new process prints direct from computer to tshirt in full color
and on dark shirts or light shirts. It washes as well as a screenprinted
shirt, but the print is softer. It's a waterbased ink, and since
there are no screens, emulsion, plastisol or cleanup chemicals involved
in the process, it is a far Greener
method of garment design. This technology allows for beautiful photo
quality images to be printed with as much accuracy and saturation
as your digital file will allow. Just
email your file to us at 300 dpi for best results
(150 will also work, but best advised to not go below this) and
at 100% to printed size (the size you want it on the shirt) and
we'll print it. No setup, and almost no waiting.
